I had the opportunity to be invited to a spring lunch ... and met a couple who has lived in Rockport for about 2 years. Because I always want to know - what brought you here? - I asked that question... YUP this is what I heard... We lived in Hawaii and heard on the radio - about how great Rockport was... a small town - easy to drive and get around- can buy a really nice home for a lot less and be on the water - so we came to check it and bought our home here before we even had our home in Hawaii on the market ... we enjoy living here. Of course someone at our table said .. you left Hawaii for ROCKPORT... their answer was we left our way of life in Hawaii for a much simpler, less complicated, less crowded - here in Rockport we feel we have everything we need.... They couldn't have said it better! WELCOME to ROCKPORT, Texas.
