Tailgate Cookoff, Dance & Silent Auction for Berges Fest

The Berges Fest Benefit Cook-off and Dance in March is a fund raiser for the Boerne Berges Fest (June 15-17, 2012) and the Miss Berges Fest Scholarship program. The proceeds raised also go towards helping the youth of Kendall County.

The Boerne Convention and Visitors Bureau and Last Chance Forever, The Bird of Prey Conservancy are partnering together to bring “Wings Over Boerne” which is an extraordinary, one of a kind experience. This series of Bird of Prey Demonstrations by Last Chance Forever takes place at the Boerne Visitors Center every Saturday in March at 11am, 1pm & 3pm. There is an outdoor presentation and a flying demo with hawks, owls, falcons & vultures.

Relay For Life

An overnight team event that raises funds for caner research, education, patient services and treatment. For the 12 hours of the event, one member of each team will be on the school’s track; either running, walking, in a wheelchair or in a rocker. The baton will be passed from each member of the team to the next. Resting members of the team will camp out overnight. Teams are from businesses, families, churches and groups of friends. Heal the Soul 3 Mile Run/Walk

Benefiting the Kendall County Women’s Shelter JSPP features 400 acres of breathtaking hill country views . Participants can choose to enjoy the easy 1.4 mile loop through the park’s pastoral grounds or challenge themselves to complete the 3 mile course that includes a 200 foot vertical climb up to the top of the hill.
