Charlottesville Real Estate: Real Estate Agent in Charlottesville, VA

Charlottesville pumpkinsWith the cool Fall weather in Virginia it is time to take a break from showing Charlottesville Real Estate and have some Family Fun. We love to carve pumpkins and this photo is just a sample.

Now we are not experts at carving but we have gotten better over the years.

Note: I do most of the big knife carving and still have my 10 fingers.

Enjoy the season and most of all enjoy your family time

Charlottesville Home sweet Home

Charlottesville Real Estate: Real Estate Agent in Charlottesville, VA

We had quite a snow storm yesterday, first a little rain. then sleet, then hail and them some of the biggest snow flakes I had ever seen.
Charlottesville is not know for big storms but we seem to get the tail end of some of the Northern Snow Storms.

Today I am working from my Home Office and this photo is the view outside my window. The roads and driveway still have a sheet of ice on them and the kids are home from School.

Working from my Charlottesville Home is certainly Sweet!

My son turns 15 today....

Charlottesville Real Estate: Real Estate Agent in Charlottesville, VA

Yes my son turns 15 today and I can not believe we have now lived in Charlottesville for 11 years!

You see when we moved to Charlottesville Virginia we were looking for that quality of life we all want and deserve. I had spent 20+ years in my own Engineering Business and was (well in a word) tired.

No real new challenges and we also lived in the middle of the Bay Area which is a very populated place with all if benefits but also it’s challenges.

My son at that time was 4 years old and school was a big issue.

Well I started my quest looking for that perfect slice of life and I finally found it in a beautiful part of Albemarle county.

We are so happy here, we have never regretted our decision to relocate!

In fact if we had it to do over again, we would make the same move.

My son is turning into a fine young man, he is polite and respectful. I know that the area and the schools have a lot to do with it.

You see, in the schools in the Charlottesville area and Albemarle county, they teach little things like Respect, Responsibility, Citizenship in fact they have 6 pillars that are taught to the children at a young age.

I am very excited for my son as his future is bright and his memories of childhood in Charlottesville will be fond!

All the best
