The Prince William County Fair is both the largest and most visited county fair in Virginia. It's open from August 14 to August 22, 2009. It's a great place to

Ashland is a lovely community of 880 homes (detached homes and town homes) just east of Minnieville Road with two entrances on Dumfries Road (Route 234). It's approximately three miles to I-95. One of my favorite places to shop is small local hardware stores.  They have a "flavor" that the Lowe's and Home Depot stores do not and never will.  The J.E.Rice Hardware Store is located in the Manassas Shopping Center on Mathis Avenue.

Their saying is, "If we don't have it you don't need it or they don't make it."

J.E.Rice, Sr. opened the store in 1936 at another location and opened this store in1957.  The founder's three grandchildren still operate the store which stocks in excess of 35,000 items. One of the reasons for the store's continued success is the willingness of the owners and staff to provide reliable service.  It is a pleasure to know there are still businesses that strive to provide the very best customer service possible.
