The current inventory level for South Riding decreased to 40 active listings. With 7 new listings and 6 homes which went under contract last week, receiving contracts with an average 19 days on the market. 11 homes sold and went to record last week with an average net of 97.1% and average days on the market of 16. Loudoun County residents are strongly urged to drop off unwanted paints, stains, fuels, cleaners, and other hazardous wastes to Heritage High School in Leesburg on Saturday, November 21st, from 8:30am-2:30pm during the Household Hazardous Waste collection event. The next collection will be has yet to be announced, but Loudoun County authorities say it will be held after the New Year.

• Oil-based paint/stains/varnishes
• Paint thinners
• Metal polishes
• Rust removers
• Wood preservatives
• Old fuels: gas/oil mixes, kerosene, & diesel

NOT accepted for HHW*

• Automobile batteries
• Lead-acid batteries
• Propane tanks

*These items can be dropped off year round at the Loudoun County Solid Waste Management Facility on Evergreen Mills Road in Leesburg.

I mentioned in my drecent Blog Posts that I was going to be posting some photos from around town. This post will be a few recent photos I took in Chantilly VA off Route 50 East heading towards DC on Route 50. In this photo I'm sharing a VA Historic Marker B11 which is a market commemorates the Campaign of Second Manassas. The second Chantilly VA photo is one taken directly in front of the landmark Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church UMC in Chantilly VA (Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church was founded in 1894). For anyone traversing Route 50 east or west these are town there are well know Chantilly VA Icons!
