Open House

Open House will be held in Westminster Vermont part on Windham County Vermont, there sure is a whole lot of mighty rich History. There sure is mighty fine Countryside for folks to sit their eyes upon in this here area, and Westminster sure is loaded with both.

Westminster sure also can lay c one of the oldest Towns in the State of Vermont. Even though there is barely Three Thousand folks in this here Small Country Town, it sure offers a whole lot in the way of History for folks which enjoy looking and finding their own roots as well as for those folks that look for the Historical facts of those days gone by. It sure does also offer peace and relaxation for those folks that enjoy hiking along pristine trails which go for miles, folks which enjoy fishing for Native Trout in secluded spots which can be reached by taking a leisurely canoe ride along the picturesque Connecticut Rive.

Open House will be held in Westminster Vermont part of Windham County Vermont, the Town of Westminster stands as an oasis of mighty fine Farmland and made up of Quiet small Residential Neighborhoods, between several larger Commercial and Industrial Towns in the State of Vermont. The Open House is being hosted by the Compass School on Tuesday the 7th of February 2012, the Compass School is located at 7892 US Route 5 in Westminster, Vermont.

This Open House is for Students and Parents which are interested in attending to learn more about the Compass School. The School's Open House is being held between the hours of 6:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M. Folks which attend the Open House will be able to enjoy a mighty fine homemade dinner, which is scheduled from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. There will be a presentation given by Director Dr. Rick Gordon, plus there will be a Question and Answer Session with Students and Faculty, plus those attending will be taken on a tour of the School by a current Compass School Student.

Forum to Discuss Park Plan to be held in the Village of Saxtons River Vermont which is part of Windham County Vermont, come to learn about the plan in the work for the park.

This park discussion will be taking place this evening of Monday the 30th of January 2012, and is going to be held at the Saxtons River Elementary School, which is located at 15 School Street in Saxtons River, Vermont. The meeting will be held in the Library of the Saxtons River Elementary School, the Library is handicapped accessible. The discussion will begin at 7:30 P.M. Mr. Scott Wunderle and his mighty fine design them from Terrigenous will be presenting their design ideas for the Village of Saxtons River Park.




Forum to Discuss Park Plan to be held in the Village of Saxtons River Vermont which is part of Windham County Vermont, Terrigenous has developed several plans for the design of the small Main Street Park, which is going to be put before the area residents for their input of the Park. All residents of the area sure are invited to attend and give any input about the Park.

Fireside Chat How Has the Village Changed going to be held in the Village of Saxtons River Vermont, folks come on out to attend the fourth part of this mighty fine series, which has been taking place on Monday evening.

This evening of Monday the 30th of January 2012 this continuing Fireside Chat Series will begin at 5:30 P.M. and will also be held at the Saxtons River Inn, which is located at 27 Main Street in the Village of Saxtons River, Vermont. The Chats take place in the parlor of the Saxtons River Inn. The Village of Saxtons River is the home of the Vermont Academy, which was founded in the year of 1867.

Fireside Chat How Has the Village Changed going to be held in the Village of Saxtons River Vermont, its said the village got its name from the nearby stream that got its name because, long before the Village was actually established, a surveyor by the name of Saxton fell into said stream. Just like the other three Fireside Chats that have taken pleace, there will be a cash bar available to the folks attending. Folks which attend are also encouraged to have supper after the Chat at the restarant at the Saxtons River Inn.

We are having nice weather to go out into this evening at least.

Transportation and the Fireside Chats Continues in the Village of Saxtons River Vermont part of Windham County Vermont, its time for folks to enjoy attending another mighty fine Fireside Chat.

This here is the third in the series of Fireside Chats of Local History which are being held in Saxtons River, Vermont. This Fireside Chat will be held on Monday the 23rd of January 2012 and will begin at 5:30 P.M. in the parlor of the Saxtons River Inn, which is located at 27 Main Street in Saxtons River, Vermont.

Transportation and the Fireside Chats Continues in the Village of Saxtons River Vermont part of Windham County Vermont,this weeks Fireside Chat cover the topic which is titled How Did We Get Around? this discussion will cove transportation from the 1700's to present day transportation of folks. Just as in the pass two weeks, there will be a cash bar available to folks attending the Fireside Chat. Folks are also encouraged to stay and enjoy having a mighty fine dinner in the Restaurant at Saxtons River Inn.

Also as just like the last two weeks, in case of bad weather Main Street Arts will have a message on the shops answering machine for folks to call 802-869-2960 to listen to before starting out to attend the Fireside Chat.

Writing Workshop taking place in Bellows Falls Vermont, folks sure should enjoy attending this here creative writing workshop.

The writing workshop will be taking place on Saturday the 21st of January 2012 at the Rockingham Free Public Library, which is located at 65 Westminster Street in Bellows Falls, Vermont and will be taking place between the hours of 10:30 A.M. and 1:00 P.M. Writing Workshop taking place in Bellows Falls Vermont, this workshop will focuses on Culture and tradition play a large part in shaping our individual and group identities. This here workshop, which will draw upon cultural traditions, rituals and experience, provides an opportunity to write about who we are and where we come from – geographically, historically, and emotionally.
