We had a fantastic weekend in Door County! People everywhere. We had an incredible Winter Festival in Fish Creek. Oh, sure, it was about forty, we had one inch of (melting) snow, but people were comfortable and they had fun. Fireworks, my much-touted "Wheel of Meat", and Human Foosball....it was another great festival. And it was bigger than last year, with free trolly rides, and I hope it grows even more next year. The spill-over carried into Sister Bay for the dinner hour, and the Bowl, JJ's and Husby's were BUSY. Al Johnson's parking lot was packed when I drove by yesterday morning, too. I hope everyone had a FANTASTIC weekend.
This is a Sister Bay week for me. I have a lot of showings, and a LOT of follow-ups on customers or clients who have been on the fence. I expect a contract back today, and I need to be showing in the next hour.
Alas, I have enjoyed this warms spell (I swear our grass is getting green again) but it's supposed to be (properly) back in the teens by the weekend. Make it a great week!

Winterfest Update---our parade went through, people are stopping in for real estate guides, and it is warm! The thermometer only says 25 (high of 37 predicted) but the beautiful sun and blue sky makes it seem much warmer.
I had a great week showing property; have a few contracts to draft, and other items on the agenda today. Make it a great weekend! Fireworks in Fish Creek tonight!

“Come forth into the light of things, let nature be your teacher.” William Wordsworth
Door County, Wisconsin. A naturalist's paradise. Each year, more than two million visitors like to visit and claim this piece of paradise as their own. With nearly 300 miles of scenic shoreline dotted with bustling harbors, quaint towns and villages and quiet coves, Door County offers a wealth of water-based recreation--but so much more. Combine that with five state parks, more than a dozen county parks, ten lighthouses, and a huge emphasis on the arts (from painting, clayworks to theatre), recreation and social entertaining, great dining and shopping, and you have truly discovered the “Cape Cod of the Midwest”.

Every year, we assist hundreds of Buyers in locating a little “piece of the Door” that is uniquely suited to their own special circumstances. From a cozy cabin in the woods, to a grand home on the shore, to vacant acreage with native wildflowers that will one day become the site for your dream home, we offer all of these things and more (including access to the entire Door County Multiple Listing Service) at http://www.door-county-properties.com I invite you to visit our site often, and to register for all new listings that suit your criteria immediately upon release. When you feel something truly special has entered our market, please call or e-mail me. I’ll immediately prepare to send more information and to schedule a tour at your convenience.
Please let me know if you have already identified a special listing or if I may provide any additional information relating to a Door County real estate purchase. Candlelight ski this weekend? See you there! Enjoy your Winterfest Weekend!
