About Airdrie's Fairways

Having spent almost 7 years this coming May 2010 in the community of THE FAIRWAYS, I can honestly say I still feel at home and enjoy my neighborhood.

Nestled alongside Airdrie's only 18 hole golf course (Woodside Golf Course) homes here are mostly two storey homes. However the exception is along the golf course there are plenty of bungalows. A great appeal to folks who don't want stairs anymore, or just want an executive style home.

Our community has access to a Catholic school (Our Lady Queen of Peace) and a public school just steps away outside of the Fairways (Ralph McCall) both are elementary schools.

On my street we have a green space with a swing and climbing gym for the little ones. I always enjoy seeing the Mom's out with the little ones exploring the park. Also a good game of Frisbee by the older kids or a quick game of soccer - gets the Dad's out. Last summer a few boys, had a model airplane zipping around.

Prices start in the high $300K and up. There are two townhouse complexes at the entrance into the Fairways. One is geared for mostly adult living the - very quiet and well maintained homes. Prices start at $250K and up. (two storey, bi-levels and bungalow style)
