How much time do spend on selling your services?

Cathy Clark of www.coachingwithcathy.com is the Law of Attraction coach for the PRES Home Staging course I offer. When Cathy comes in to the classroom she spends time asking the students how much time they think they will be spending on certain areas of their business to grow it.

These are the 3 area breakdowns she asks about:

  1. PRODUCTION - what you actually do in your business eg for home stagers it would be staging the home, shopping or sourcing, consulting, organizing, etc. For a realtor, working with the sellers to get their listings, etc.
  2. ADMINISTRATION - as it implies - paper work, computer work, emailing, returning phone calls, writing up contracts, etc.
  3. SALES & MARKETING - directly or indirectly contacting a prospect or client to get business and close the deal; marketing is educating and informing about who you are and what you do
