The Highlands neighbourhood Edmonton real estate update including data up to the end of 2011 is now up. Highlands continues to be a strong neighbourhood. Interestingly, this year there was not one sale on Ada Boulevard. Visit the report for more details.

Highlands Edmonton Real Estate
The Highlands Edmonton real estate average home sale price per square foot has continued it's upward path. The average selling price per square foot in the Highlands hasn't reached the peak of the 4th quarter of 2010, but has climbed from the 1st quarter of 2011. The Highland's average sold price per square foot is once again over the $300/sq ft mark. The average days on market in the Highlands this past quarter was 30 days, lower than the Edmonton average time to sell. The highest sale price recorded in the Highlands in the last quarter was $560,000.

The Highlands real estate market has outperformed the Edmonton market on a sold price per square foot. The last quarter of 2010 in the Highlands saw a huge jump in sale price per square foot, this was due to a higher price home that sold on Ada Boulevard.

There were 4 homes sold in the last 90 days in the Highlands. The highest sale price for a single family detached home in the Highlands in this time period was $778,000. The days on market average was higher in the Highlands than in the rest of Edmonton. Not too surprising considering the higher average sale price (and therefore smaller pool of buyers) that exists in the Highlands area.
