About Edmonton's Jamieson Place

The Jamieson Place real estate average sale price per square foot had a weaker 4th quarter in 2011. The average sold price per square foot in Jamieson has dropped below the Edmonton average again. Interestingly, Jamieson Place rarely stays below the Edmonton average and in the past few years has always rebounded back over the Edmonton average in the next quarter. The Jamieson Place or Hawkstone Edmonton real estate average sale price per square foot has been on a steadily increasing trend since December of 2010. The average sold price per square foot in Edmonton has slipped in this third quarter of 2011, while Jamieson Place has been climbing. Traditionally, Jamieson Place follows the Edmonton average fairly closely, we will see what happens in the 4th quarter of 2011. The highest sale price recorded this quarter in Jamieson Place was $437,000. The average days on market in Jamieson Place was 42 days this quarter of 2011 and in Edmonton the average time to sell was 48 days.

Jamieson Place Edmonton Real Estate

The Jamieson Place Edmonton real estate average sale price per square foot has continued to stick closely to the Edmonton selling price per square foot in 2011. Jamieson Place has only had a couple quarters in the last 2 years where it varied off the Edmonton average by a significant amount. Jamieson Place did have a softer 4th quarter of 2010 than Edmonton did, but as can be seen in the graph, 2011 has been stronger for Jamieson Place.

The Jamieson Place (includes Hawkstone and Bridlewood) real estate market in the west end has been fairly close to the Edmonton average on a sale price per square foot basis. The 1st quarter of 2009 and 2nd quarter of 2010 were strong quarters for Jamieson Place.
