An avenue that I have recently learned a lot about is Short Sales. Going through multiple offers as a buyers agent and now also as a listing agent on the other side, I am beginning to feel like an pro in this area.

Short sales had a stigma for years when the market was better, since the response time was so slow. Now, however, the market is flooded with short sales and there are deals to be had. And buyers are being more educated about how patient they will need to be while waiting on the bank.

It has also been an essential thing for many sellers to pursue as the ARM mortgage readjustments continue.
