The cost of being a Realtor is high. I brought several new agents to my team a couple of years ago and they have stuck it out through this hard time all RE agents have been going through. And then January rolls around and ALL dues become Payable at once. (MLS, SupraKey, Remax International) ALL worth it!
Well if you owned any other business you would still have overhead. Although I hate to have to pay everything all in the same month at least it is paid and covered for the whole year and I don't have to think of it again until 09'.
Does anyone else share this view?

I guess something is happening here. Today when I was making my showing appointments for the customer we will be taking out tomorrow, 3 of them on the list had just gone pending within the last couple of days. (Of course it still shows active in the MLS) That's not the point.
Now this is my buyers list of homes they want to see so I feel bad I cannot show her those homes, But I am sure glad to see and hear contracts are being written here in Fort Myers Florida
Maybe I'll even get to write one tomorrow.

If you are looking for affordable housing this is it. Lee County Florida has over 100 listings for under 100 thousand dollars.
Not only that but we have the beautiful weather also. We drove our motorcycles to the beach the other day and luckily we did, there would have been no place for a car anyway. It looks to me like the snowbirds have all flocked to Ft. Myers for the winter. Hopefully they will all buy a house and stay. (then we'll need more parking).

Something is going on here in Ft Myers Fl! The last week there has been a lot of activity by both phone and email. Has anybody else noticed this? I have made 3 appointments for residential homes in 3 days, and can see through the statistics on my website that more people have logged on in the last week than in the whole rest of the month Nov.
I think this is a very good sign and hope it continues this way. I would like to hear about other realtors statistics and if you have noticed more activity on your website!
