About our Home Stager, Juliet Johnson
A former Manhattan realtor, Juliet brings 6 years of experience in home staging, 15 years of corporate event/live marketing and lots of theatrical experience even her family has long forgotten. She is an author and leading authority on home staging New Jersey. Her firm handles properties throughout Essex, Union, Morris and Somerset counties.
Juliet Johnson is a graduate of Smith College. She then moved to America full time and took up residence in Manhattan. She has been an auxiliary police officer in Midtown North, the 18th Precinct, and took a year of singing at Juilliard. When not staging, Juliet does voice-overs in New York, where she is the voice of First Wave, Channel 22 at Sirius, does the schedule change announcements for 'Adult Swim' on the Cartoon Network and is the voice of Altitude for ABC Radio. Past voice clients include MTV (Celebrity Deathmatch, and Liquid Pavilion) CNN, Netscape, Anderson Consulting, Verizon, Lady Speed Stick, Deutsche Bank and Ford. Samples can be heard at www.britvoice.com.
Home Staging NJ with 9 Services & 5 Yrs. Experience

Juliet has trained with several of the industry's luminaries, synthesizing and constantly refining those techniques to create the appropriate look for high-end homes in New York suburbs of New Jersey. The goal is always to show that each home can support a lifestyle of luxurious simplicity. It is tremendous fun working with sellers and developers, helping them "appreciate" what they've got!
If there's one thing that makes Juliet Johnson different, it is her sense of humor, her positive energy and her ability to make it the whole experience great fun. The British accent doesn't hurt, either.
It's The Nanny meets Designed to Sell meets Mission Organization...a great formula for $ucce$$!
Services offered include:-
- Consulting
An on-site meeting with you in your home, that leads to an Action Plan, or as it is often referred to, as the Do It Yourself Plan
- Whole House Staging
Principal rooms or every room, this service is mostly for vacant homes
- Surface Staging
Buyers act on emotion and are looking for more than just home, they looking for a lifestyle. When we do surface staging, we re-work what you've already got to create a look of simple luxury and easy living. We will be creating emotional connection points throughout the home, not just the principal rooms.
- Furniture and Accessory Rental
From mirrors, to plants, to focal points, rich textures and genuine antiques, we have every kind of furniture and accessory needed to make your home sparkle and stand above the pack. There is usually a 3 month minimum if we roll a truck's-worth of furniture. Smaller items can be rented by the month.
- Staging to Stay
Commonly known as Redesign, this service simply gives you home a fresh look. This is an ideal service to use when planning for a large party or when you purchase a large new piece of furniture and want to have the rest of the space match. We've even been jobbed in to fix a bookshelf the client was stymied by. (The fee for that particular service was several cups of tea and a bottle of wine!)
- Trustees and Estate Sale
Assisting you in sorting through the contents of a house, keeping the items to stage the home for sale, and relocating everything else to appropriate location; also includes referrals to yard/estate sale professionals, auction houses, charitable organizations, etc.
- Fresh Flowers Program
Some realtors still want fresh flowers in their listings to create a sense of abundance and comfort. This is not an easy assignment, week in, week out, especially when a home is vacant. We offer a 3 month program of weekly fresh flower arrangements that we will care for and maintain.
- Move Management Services
The decisions involved in unloading a moving truck can be overwhelming and not fun at all. The constant question -"Where do you want this, ma'am?" and they never give it a noun - is unbearable without a friend. When you work with Juliet Johnson Staging, we already know how you live, what needs to be where, what can be ideal for you in the new space. So, we offer help at the door when they unload the truck in your new home. Includes 1 day of 2 guys a month later to rearrange what's not ideal once you've unpacked a bit. We will also unpack boxes for you, too.
- Holiday Decorating

Testimonials from Our Homes Staged to Sell
"Juliet was our "Stager 911." She is action-oriented and results focused. Within days, she developed and executed a practical plan to clean up, dress up and position our house for sale. Our house sold in less than 2 weeks and we got just 2% below our asking price. We couldn't have done it without her!" A. Mohl, 15 Winding Way, Short Hills, NJ
Juliet was a force of energy in getting this property prepared for sale. She was totally available and flexible to accommodate the seller's schedule. She managed to purge and stage with a smile on her face at all times and was even able to enlist the help of the seller's children. The result was a beautiful home that put its best foot forward. The response to the property has been extremely positive and it should sell very quickly. Wendy Drucker, Burgdorff ERA, Short Hills, NJ on 104 Wellington, SH, which had multiple offers the opening weekend.
My listing at 18 Tree Top Lane is a luxury home and my clients were concerned that the quality of the furnishing reflect adequately the quality of the home. We need not have feared! Juliet furnished the home beautifully with style and grace. Many Realtors congratulated us on the finished result - the house looks terrific and my clients are very pleased. Juliet does a great job and I have thoroughly enjoyed working with her. She brings energy and enthusiasm to the task and of course a great sense of style." Janet McKeown, Coldwell Banker, Madison
"The client didn't have time to prepare their home for sale. Calling in Juliet to stage it for them eased that pressure and stress. She is to the point, efficient and brilliant at what she does! The house sold in 3 days, with multiple offers, well over asking. I recommend Juliet's staging services to all of my clients. We always get great results: she can make any house shine!" Saritte Har-El Burgdorff ERA - Short Hills
"Dear Juliet, Thank you again for all your hard work and the extraordinary results! Your energy, enthusiasm and good taste transformed shambles into an elegant home. We're all impresed, and deeply grateful. Sincerely, Barbara, Karl and Sam."
"Juliet - Estelle and I are now believers! If we hadn't seen it for our own eyes, well, we'd still be sitting on the market. Moving our furniture around and bringing in pieces you said were congruent made a HUGE difference. The rooms looked larger, brighter and way more inviting. No wonder we sold our house the same month you completed. I would have bought it again, too! Money well spent, thank you. " Michael of Maplewood.
"Have I told you lately that I love you? All you did was move some rugs around and cover up those revolting sofas. I think. Whatever it was, it worked. We relaunched this weekend and as of Monday we are in contract. Keep it up, girlfriend!" My favorite realtor; I probably owe her money now.
"Thank you, Juliet! Your staging, organization and speed have made it possible for us to get our Short Hills home onto the market. The feedback all around has been really positive. You transformed a house we dearly loved into a serious "WOW" home! You were professional, yet fun to work with. My kids loved everyone on your team, as did we. No wonder we had such great results. Will you come to Europe to stage our next one?" Nita, Short Hills.
