Gustav Victims - my heart goes out.

I sometimes feel like I live in Tornado Ally with storm coming a little too close for comfort (5 tornados in our county in the past 18 months), but those folks in New Orleans are getting pounded. I've been watching the reports this morning and it looks as if it could be as bad as Katrina. A friend of my works for an electrical contractor and his crew headed from GA to Lousianna early this morning. Let's pray and prepare to help.

Rain, Rain we need it and I love it!

We've been in "drought conditions" for the past two years and finally Tropical Storm Fay delivered much needed rain fall. The rain was refreshing to the grass, flower - everything including the lakes and streams. Sometimes, we need the rain to come (closings) in our world. We sow, we plow - we do everything we know to do - but it takes water to really help things grow. I guess this means I'll be cutting my grass again real soon - I'm very thankful for the rain. Does anyone else like to leave the windows up and sleep to the sound of a gentle rain? Wow. I even love the name of this network - "ACTIVE RAIN". We all need the Rain!!

Press On!!
