I love the real estate business and I think now is a GREAT time to be a part of it.  I know, I know, this seems contradictory to all of the gloom and doom prognosticating.  But if you look beyond the numbers, you will see that clients need agents more than ever.  Houses still need to be bought and sold and it is suddenly not simple.  The easy money is gone.  Investors are leaving the market and quite frankly so are many agents.  Now is the time to shine for professional Realtors.  Agents who can roll up their sleeves and go to work will do great.  Those who spend time searching for the perfect home for their buyers and help their sellers make their home the perfect choice for a buyer will be rewarded.  Those who cannot, will not and would better serve everyone by finding other career opportunities. 

I have a BSME from Tennessee Technological University and an MBA from Eastern Kentucky University.  Before earning my real estate license, I worked for 14 years as a design engineer / manager at 3 of the largest and most respected companies in the world.  I am now concentrating on transferring my knowledge and problem solving skills to the real estate industry.   I understand that buying and selling a home is largely an emotional decision.  My job is to make sure that the data supports your decision and to give buyers and sellers the confidence to proceed.  

On a more personal note, my wife and I have twin 4-year olds who keep us on our toes constantly.  My daughter thinks she is something special because once a week, while my son is at therapy, she goes to Starbucks with my wife.  She loves to come home and tell me that her and mommy got coffee and water and that "Daddy can't have any cookies." My son is the happiest child that I have ever seen.  He takes everything in stride and is never bad-tempered.   Both of my children actually attend therapy at Green Hill and at Cardinal Hill.  The therapists are great and I highly recommend both facilities if you have children with needs.

We love living in Shepherdsville.  We are close enough to Louisville to enjoy all of the amenities that the city has to offer, yet minutes from farm land and places like Bernheim Forest.  I'd strongly encourage anyone looking for homes in the Louisville Metro Area to search for homes in Bullitt County.
