Since 1996 I've helped homebuyers and sellers in the Lake Lanier, Gainesville, Hall County, GA, markets by communicating with them, telling them the truth, & solving their problems. I love what I do!
Since beginning my real estate career in 1996, I've helped hundreds of homeowners buy and sell residential real estate in the Gainesville, GA, market (including our cities of Flowery Branch, Oakwood, Clermont, Braselton, Hoschton, Buford, Lula, as well as Lake Lanier).
When our family relocated here to the beautiful foothills of the North Georgia mountains in 1983, I learned first-hand how intense, stressful, and sometimes downright frightening (as well as exciting!) moving can be. Because I've never forgotten our experiences I can easily relate to and empathize with my relocating clients! I've developed expertise in making transitions smooth, seamless, and stress-free for my clients.
In addition, I've worked hard to acquire a myriad of skills needed to be the very best REALTOR possible, including completing Graduate Realtor Institute; attaining the Accredited Seller Representative and the Accredited Buyer Representative designations; completing the requirements to become an Associate Broker; achieving e-PRO Certification; and I'm a current candidate for the prestigious CRS designation. Being a REALTOR(R) with such advanced credentials assures my clients that they are in the hands of a REALTOR(R) who is knowledgeable and up-to-date in all facets of today's complex and rapidly changing real estate industry.
Prior to becoming a licensed REALTOR, I spent 7 years as a teacher in post-secondary business education and 10 years in sales and marketing with the Cabbage Patch Kids company (If you haven't visited BabyLand General Hospital, located in nearby Cleveland, GA, it's a really fun place to see!), where I traveled nationwide. Hoping to stay closer to home and away from so many airports, I chose real estate as a career that would allow me to meet people, communicate with them, tell them the truth, and help them solve problems. Licensed since January 1996, I've never looked back!
The communication, negotiation and business skills I learned in my past careers have served me very well in the field of residential real estate. Helping clients with their biggest financial assets is both challenging and rewarding and requires a REALTOR have a unique and special skill set.

Our beautiful area offers so much...proximity to Atlanta and all of its cultural, educational, entertainment and sports venues; Lake Lanier, which offers beauty, recreation and water resources to a wide area; the North Georgia Mountains, which provide countless opportunities for recreation and relaxation; and proximity to the Mall of Georgia, proported to be the largest mall in the Southeast. In spite of all that surrounds us, the Gainesville, Flowery Branch, Oakwood, Braselton, Hoschton, Clermont, and Lula areas are, by and large, uncrowded, scenic, and very friendly places to live!
Buyers: As an Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), homebuyers can be assured that I am experienced and knowledgeable of real estate laws and practices as they relate to buyer representation. Prior to looking at specific properties, a 1-hour in-person consultation is held so I'll have a chance to listen to the buyer's wants, needs, and expectations. The information I gather during this initial meeting is used as a foundation on which to build a successful relationship, which inevitably leads to a happy conclusion when the buyers close on their new property!
Sellers: I specialize in assisting homesellers with the staging, listing, maketing and selling of what is, for most people, their largest financial asset. Prior to releasing a new listing to the marketplace, I work closely with my clients to prepare their homes for "Showtime". In today's competitive real estate market, where there are many homes from which buyers can choose, it's vital that new listiings are prepared and positioned to stand out from the crowd. This places my clients' properties in the best position to attract the highest possible offers in the shortest amount of time.
