The planning and zoning department has been talking to developers & builders for some time out in Oldham County about moving toward mixed-use developments. It appears they are now listening. Neighborhoods like Claymont Springs, Arbor Ridge and Norton Commons are providing a community where people can live, work, dine and attend school all within walking distance. Claymont Springs located in Crestwood, Kentucky has single family homes from the $300's to the $600's, luxury patio homes from $250's, luxury office condos and commercial retail space. They also have a 4 acre nature preserve with fishing pond and walking trails. The entire development is located directly across the street from South Oldham County schools and is only 1 block from the grocery store and post office in Crestwood. I hope to see more developments like these
