Today marks the first day of Summer but those in Sea Isle City last Saturday would have to say it already started. With Skimmer Weekend drawing such a large crowd, Sea Isle City has already started celebrating the season. This past week my family and I kicked off summer with a night of crabbing (we caught five and promptly cooked them), had Mack-n-Manco pizza(Ocean City), ate some taffy and walked the promenade. Shops opening their doors for the season, beach badge checkers and Maryann's donuts..... Yes, summer has begun! Enjoy!
The following homes were sold this past week:
6301 Central North sold for $550,000
130 67th Street, East sold for $603,000
5501 Central East sold for $753,000
There were three townhomes and one single-family home that went "under contract" this past week.

Sea Isle City will become another Cape May County town to put the reverse 911 system into place. They plan to test the reverse system within the next two weeks. The system will allow the emergency management office to pinpoint specific areas of the city, down to blocks and streets to warn of specific problems, such as flooding. Out-of Town home owners can add their primary number to the list, at the their request, according to Thomas D'Intino, Deputy Coordinator of Emergency Management.
Mark your calendar for the annual kick-off for summer, June 7th on the Promenade. Here you will find over 400+ vendors along the promenade, a food court with the area restaurant specialties and kiddie rides. This event is held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
