The Basha Kill Area Association presents "Blooms & Butterflies with John Kenney" John Kenney will show you the wildflowers that bloom in mid-summer at the Basha Kill, as well as the many butterflies that use the Basha Kill, Meet him Sunday, July 13th at 10 am at the Haven Road parking lot. Music in the Grove at Wooster Grove Band Stand, Route 52 will begin Saturday, July 5th at 6:30pm. Walden's own songbird, Alice-Nielsen Shane, jazz pianist, featuring blues, rag and torch songs and Howard Garrett of Montgomery with his monkey organ grinder will be guest performers.
The free summer concert is presented by the Walden Community Council, the Village of Walden and the Josephine-Louise Public Library. Bring your lawn chairs. Town of Montgomery and Crawford seniro bus service is availalbe by reservation call 457-2622
The committee has met and the Harvest Festival is scheduled to be held on Saturday, October 4th. Many hands are needed to make this a successful event and as well as known many hands make light work. For more information call Jodi after 6pm at 778-7442

Concerts are held on Friday evenings at 7pm at the Bandstand, 70 Main Street, Pine Bush, New York. In the event of rain, concerts are held at the Town of Crawford Government Center, 121 Route 302 (opposite high school) Pine Bush All concerts are free and both locations are handicapped accessible with ample free parking. The Walker Valley Marching Band meets every Monday night for practice at the Walker Valley Firehouse at 6:45pm and they welcome new members. The band will march in the parade in Ellenville for Enterprise Steamer for the Hudson Valley on June 21st Saturday.
A band-fishing trip is planned for June 28th. The band will be on the move on the Fourth of July. Members will march in three parades all in one day.
