JULIEFEST: Live Music in Hallowell Maine

We would like to invite you to join us in supporting Julie Farstad and her partner Heidi this Sunday, July 20th at The Wharf in Hallowell for JULIEFEST.

Hallowell Maine Realtor

Proceeds from this live, non stop music event will help defray medical expenses incurred by Julie who almost lost her life to septic shock. Julie is a speech therapist who works with preschool autistic children. Three years ago she donated a kidney to her mother. Now that she is in need of assistance, old and new friends have rallied together for her. Sunday also happens to be Julie's 39th birthday.

Please join us for this 21-and-over event from 2 to 10pm Sunday. Wharf owner David Bustin has generously donated the venue as well as a portion of the bar proceeds for the evening. Admission is by donation at the door, and there will also be a raffle. The line up of musicians includes: Kate Schrock, Darien Brahms, the Boneheads, Assembly of Lust, Trailer Sex, Katie Webber, Erik Glocker, and Ginger Cote.

Its mission is to transform and restore the building and allow St. Mary's to continue to enrich the lives of the people of Lewiston-Auburn and elsewhere by preserving the community's rich French history. This is an active and thriving center with a combination of uses including a museum, a performance hall, a function hall, and a learning center. The current exhibition, "Lewiston-A Century and a Half of Textile Manufacturing," tells the story of Bates Manufacturing from its inception in 1852 until its demise in 2001, as well as that of W.S. Libbey and other local textile enterprises. A spinning frame, a Jacquard loom, and other equipment Bates used to create its famous bedspreads are on display, together with examples of the company's fashionable products and alluring ads. P
