The Fish must be running on the Anchor River because the fisherman are lined up on the highways and down in the Anchor River Park... they were almost combat fishing....

And the smiles on the faces show they are catching not just fishing!

Steelhead and Dolly Varden are the catch of the day...

Steelhead are catch and release but the Dolly's you can keep...

As I drove into town I just had to stop and enjoy the brilliance of the day...

Scott Connelly who we all know and love as one of the good guys out there....had not one but TWO Open Heart Surgeries in February…It started at the Homer Hospital and involved a helicopter ride and emergency transfer to Providence Hospital in Anchorage.He was there for about 5 weeks and that means huge bills!

He is doing pretty darn good right now as he is a strong and always was a healthy guy…

He just needs a little help from his friends As you all know Scott is always there to help his friends and now we get to pay it forward and reciprocate!
