July 4th Parade - Celebrating Alaska's 50th

The Homer Independence Day Parade was a huge hit again this year with a record turnout of entries and participants. With 52 parade entries and over 200 participants, 9 entries took home $550 in prize money. The Homer Chamber of Commerce, GCI, Bay Realty and the Homer Tribune sponsored the Parade this year. Thanks to the local businesses on Pioneer Avenue that also contributed cash and prizes. The winners are:

This was the 10th Homer Chamber of Commerce Parade, we at Bay Realty have been a part of and it was a really great parade. The best ever not only for the amount of entries... the quality of the entries was exceptional! Really a good time was had by all! The theme this year was the 50 Year anniversary of statehood for Alaska and the parade had some very interesting people and was enjoyed by all!

The party was a huge success and the Homer Chamber's Parade was the best ever.

First off I have to thank all the Bay Realty Family and Friends who worked so hard to put the Party Together. Take a look at how hard they work to make it happen.
