This Saturday December 2nd, 2011 marks the 2nd annual Gulf Shores Christmas Parade. The parade starts at 4:00 and will run down Highway 59 from the Bridge to the Beach. Last year the parade was graced with the Budweiser Clydesdales along with a wide variety of area business sponsored floats, The Gulf Shores High School Band, and more. This year should be a similar string of participants, with candy, necklaces, and the like for your children (or even YOU) to scamper for. According to the weather forecast Gulf Shores should be experiencing temps around 65 degrees- perfect for a parade!
Another Gulf Shores and Orange Beach Holiday event that you will not want to miss is the Back Country Trail Sleigh Ride that Orange Beach will be putting on. The event will take place on December 9th, from 6-9pm and is free for all who attend. Our beautiful Gulf Coast doesn't normally allow for a white Christmas, but Orange Beach will surely have all of the expected Holiday trimmings for your viewing pleasure along the sleigh ride trail. Be sure to take part, and make this a new family tradition! People wishing to take the "sleigh" ride will be picked up at the Orange Beach City Hall.
For 26 years now, this Gulf Shores and Orange Beach Holiday Event has been putting down the Canal for eveyone to enjoy. As many are aware, the current housing market has created a large number of foreclosure properties. For people who would like to live in or own property in the Gulf Shores or Orange Beach area, this can be the opportunity of a lifetime.
A spectacular Gulf Shores beach bargain can seem like just a dream. By getting assistance from a knowledgeable source familiar with not only the physical area but also the foreclosure process, your dream could come true!
Potentially acquiring a house, even if it is a foreclosure, is still a major purchase with many possible pitfalls. With the proper guidance, however, it can be quite a sensible decision.
One of the first steps you should consider is contacting a Gulf Shores real estate agent. An agent can assist you from the beginning and give you advice that could make all the difference for such an important purchase. Agents are familiar with the different stages of foreclosed properties and can guide you in the best direction given your own personal situation and desired outcome. For instance, you could be dealing with an owner in default, a trustee or a foreclosing lender. An agent can show you options to help you determine the best course of action.
An agent can assist you in other aspects as well. For instance, it's likely you’ll need to deal with several other professionals—from home inspectors and contractors to finance officers and attorneys. The agent will be able to refer you to reputable experts in these fields. By going in with your eyes wide open to all disclosures regarding the property, knowing realistic repair estimates, being aware of any outstanding liens or tax arrearages, and having your financing pre-approved, you’ll be in a position to make a practical offer. You’ll have a better view of what is likely to be accepted, and your time won’t be wasted on improbable bids so you can get right down to enjoying your amazing Gulf Shores beach bargain!
I would like to be the agent to support you. I can assist you in looking for foreclosure properties and several other real estate options. I have extensive knowledge of the Orange Beach/Gulf Shores area and enjoy living here. Give me a call today, Lance Steffek: 251-981-2225 or contact me online.
