Gustation is the new word of the day.

OK don’t know about you but I like doing this. Some things don’t come up to this level but most things do. I’m partially fond of adult beverages but I’ve had to cut back for various reasons. Anyway I won’t bore you with the other stuff but now is as good a time as any for the meaning of (ges ta’shen) is the act of tasting, the sense of taste. A tasteless substance for me is water and I’m supposed to drink more of that than anything. <sigh>

Tchotchke is the new word of the day

That’s right you heard it here first. The origin of the word is Yiddish and I read it in a book last night. Not that I was born last night (actually night before last) but who’s counting. Anyway I had I just had to look this one up and low and behold here it is. The meaning of (chach’ke) is a knickknack, collectible, trinket. So how many clients have you had that absolutely refused to get rid of their trinkets?

Hirsutism is the new word of the day

Can you guess what the word of the day stands for? Come on just take a look at me and it should knock you down it’s so obvious. While I feel sorry for people with this problem I would like to have it once in my life. <sigh> OK time to give the meaning to (hur’soot iz’em) a heavy abnormal growth of hair, and with that being said there is only one thing left to say <sigh> <sigh>

Ever had someone pull a “levant” on you?

You bet ya I have more than once. The problem is I know it’s going to happen again but I do hope it is not as often. Of course while you’re reading this post start wondering how many times this has happened to you. Now I guess it would be a good time to give you the meaning of (le vant’) is to disappear unexpectedly, leaving unpaid debt. So now what say you?

Not a trick word do you have a “kluge”?

Who would have thunk it a new word for me anyway about a problem I bet most of you didn’t know it existed. I knew of a person who had worked for this industry at one time. I was told by her when someone returned one of these they would take the parts out that worked and used them on another new product. The meaning of (klooj) is a computer, made up of, or improvised from, mismatched parts. I have not confirmed this but it could be true. So now how many of you are using a computer that might not be what you think it is?
