A few months ago I wrote a blog about searching for an "heir apparent." I found someone who fit the bill and he has been through his training, obtained his license, and got an office across the hall from mine so I can communicate with him quickly.
One way new agents get listings is through an old agent who passes along the request to "come list my house." He got one that way and headed off to list the property. It's quite a distance out. He had to borrow my pointer that would point to the property because he didn't have any.
The seller painted signs of his own and put it beside the highway right beside my pointer. Mark's wife (his name is Mark Lercher and I've been negligent about introducing him on this blog) took a picture of this sign and several others like it that the seller made and put up.
I love the sign! He had to work a long time to print all that info several times and go stick them up in various places. I'd say he is very motivated and this may result in a sale for Mark. 10 acres, road frontage!! Sounds good!
