Here's this weeks average mortgage interest rates based on a survey of large lenders:

Mortgage Rates:  (30 yr fixed) 6.32 percent, Average points: 0.26
Rates rose a slightly but not much from last week.  The hasn't been any major economic news to really move mortgage rates that much.  In the past six weeks, the 30-year fixed-rate mortgage has varied from a low of 6.27 percent to a high of 6.32 percent.  The average 15-year fixed rose to 6.05 percent.  The average jumbo 30-year fixed rose slightly to 6.56 percent. Adjustable-rate mortgages:  5/1 ARM rose from last week to 6.24 percent, the one-year ARM still the same at 6.05 percent.  Rate's can be lowered by paying additional points.

Home Equity Rates:  HELOC:  8.16 percent, Home Equity Loan:  7.94 percent
