Lamorinda Spirit Van Program

 Let all senior's be heard!  We are living longer.  We want to be independent for as long as possible.  We want to be safe and responsible.  We all have to make a decision where we give up driving for the safty of all.  But that means we can't hope in a car to go out to dinner, buy groceries, or go do that doctor's appointment.  Our families, if possible, help out but they too have their responsibilities to their famililes.  The Lamorinda Spirit Van Program is an alternative.

the Lamorinda Spirit Van is a community outreach program for our seniors.  The program is an alliance of between Moraga, Orinda and Lafayette to help our senior citizens stay mobile and be able to live an independently longer. The program is approaching the lafayette, Orinda, and Moraga City Councils for funding for the 2007-2008 fiscal year.  The budget for this program will be discussed at upcoming City Council Budget meetings.  Please support this important program for our communities.
