There is nothing more Patriotic than a Small Town 4th of July Celebration. I have enjoyed festivities in cities and towns across the SouthWest, and the amount of pride I have seen in rural towns amazes me.
The whole town stops its daily activities and everyone participates in a parade, or pagent. There are usually games and refreshments, entertainment, and patriotic themes all day long.
I will be posting the events and calender from the Small towns I have visited and hope you will take time to visit one of these fine communities on one of their Small Town Independence Day Celebrations.

the 4th is great in Cda Idaho as well !
Then Post it on localism! I think every community even needs our support as Real Estate professionals to get the word out. A lot of time and energy goes into that by volunteers, and I appreciate all the hard work they do.
I live in Payson, AZ, and I agree about small town fourths. We have fireworks at the park by the town lake and nearly the whole town turns out. It's great! I'll be posting on localism for Payson as the time nears.
