Heritage Wake Forest History

Heritage at Wake Forest gracefully adorns land that is rich in a heritage of its own. More than 50 years prior to its development, much of the land functioned as a thriving dairy farm, owned by Emmitt Marshall and his son-in-law, Phil Stroud.  Once Jud Ammons purchased the land in 1986, he and son Andy began planting trees to replenish the necessary clearing, and to accentuate the views. In four years, they planted over 1.1 million trees around Heritage Wake Forest.

Heritage Wake Forest Has Many Distinctive Neighborhoods Centered Around One Community

In keeping with simple southern hospitality, Heritage Wake Forest offers a wide array of homes, neighborhoods and amenities. Custom homes are priced from the low-$200,000s to more than $1 million, providing an opportunity to own for everyone.

Maintenance-free town homes and patio homes are available from the $190,000s. Heritage Spring will be an active 55 plus age-restricted neighborhood of attached single-family homes mid $200,000s. Luxury attached single-family homes with water and fairway views are available from the mid $400,000s.

Numerous choices of custom, single-family homes are priced from the $300,000s. The common thread through all these choices? Charming, traditionally styled homes and neighborhoods, carefully planned by the developer and custom builder group.

The developer's goal is to mirror the warmth and charm of Wake Forest and you'll find all the elements here that achieve exactly that-stone walls weave throughout the community, alongside tree-lined streets, sidewalks, subtle signage, traditional yard lanterns and customized street and mailbox posts.

Here is a list of each of the single family communities with links to each:
