Tampa Bay Florida Commercial Real Estate Going to the Dogs

Tampa Bay Florida ~ Commercial offices will have some unexpected guests this Friday, June 22, 2007 - Our commercial Tampa Bay real estate will go to the dogs because Friday is the 9th Annual Take Your Dog to Work Day in Tampa Bay Florida.

take you dog to work day in tampa bay florida

Take Your Dog to Work Day was started 9 years ago by Pet Sitters International to "celebrate canine companionship" - they wanted to show co-workers that don't own dogs the joy a dog can bring into your life.

Historically, Pet Sitters International's goal has been to take the day and have fun while putting the focus on the benefits of owning a dog and helping to motivate people to take action and adopt many of the dogs currently in Tampa Bay area shelters or Humane Societies. Our shelters are typically fuller in the summer months.

If you still want to be part of this years "woof-friendly workday" to www.petsit.com to get all the information you need to participate - there's still time to get permission from the company's top dog and participate on Friday.

After a long day at the office or during the Dog Days of Summer you may enjoy playing with your canine friend at one of the many Tampa Bay Dog Parks.

Anyone planning to take your dog to your Real Estate office this Friday?

Just love this photo!  What a cute pooch!!!

Aw Cyndee:  My doggie is all steroid psycho....the vet is now afraid of her. (good thing she likes us!)

Cyndee,

I can't imagine our crazy terrier at work.  He would probably go crazy!  One of the other agents sometimes brings his little dog in.  It is funny to watch the dog running behind him down the hallway.

Cyndee - My dog would never make it to my work. They would either kick her and me out or everyone else would leave. She is NUTS!

they have take your kids to work day, why not a 'doggie day"

I have the most histerical dog on earth, I can't take her anywhere because she snaps at everything that moves - that would be an experience and a half!  Because we work from home, we can say we bring our pets to work everyday....hmmmm.

Cyndee I don't have any dogs just cats but I think this is a cute idea.

Cyndee, I love your localisms,  you need to give me tisp and tricks, take care my friend :)

Irina: Thanks - we just had our 1 year anniversary! we adopted Daisy at the SPCA last June.

Sally - I know that your baby is not doing well - it must be hard - I've yet to have to go through that :-)

Cyndee - this is too funny - Max would be barking at any and every one in the office.

Rita: I know what you mean - we don't have an "office ready" dog - luckily we work from our home office most of the time. :=)_

Paula - do you think our Dogs reflect us (oops - are we 2 crazy wild women LOL - Definitely - I don't do well in confined spaces - how about you)

Katrina - someone's always creating a new "special day" - thanks for visiting!

Ines - like  you I can "claim" I did :-) - are you bringing the boys Saturday?

Ashley - just give em time and someone will create "Take your Kitty to the City" Day (LOL) - so you're a cat lover - so is Jack.

Ray - anytime my friend - you know I'd do anything to help you - you were one of the first to extend a hand to me - you will always hold a special place with me - you were my friend when I was just a newbie - look how far we've come :-)

Thesa - it does make you laugh doesnt' it. I dont' have the "well behaved" dog - but she's a lover. Can you imagine the surprise some office workers will have when they show up with the dogs on Friday?

Cyndee- I just don't see that happening around here.. especially in some of the aerospace companies

Kaye - don't think they'd pass the security clearance eh? It is amazing the places you're seeing dogs allowed today compared to 5 years ago.

Cyndee, I love that idea. How did it get started ? I have taken Dixie, one of my 4 dogs to work. She is small. Acts like she owns the place.

Cyndee--Sounds like a very fun day for dogs and owners alike!

Missy - Click on "historically" above and see the history - it was started by Pet Sitters International. Sounds like you have a "well behaved dog"  - love it - we have a cat that "owns our neighborhood" - more people know her than my kids.

Teri - it's always fun to do something different - Fridays can be Fun days...thanks for stopping by and visiting.

Cyndee - Now you have me thinking - is my dog like me? I'd have to say yes! I am free-spirited, don't like to be confined, always doing my own thing. Guess that makes me a wild woman - there could be worse things, I suppose! :) Have a great day!

Cyndee - I think I'm leaving the boys with my mother-in-law, the 2 year old would not have let me relax.

Maureen McCabe wrote a post a few days ago asking/telling our office manager that this "holiday" was coming up. He's not in favor of it.

The Murph thinks it a GREAT idea!

Cyndee, I think we pass this time. Our dog is a surfer dog she would probably look for the water all through out the day and get very dissapointed and upset.

Cyndee, I only have cats...that would make for an interesting day if there were the cats and dogs!

Okay, now this is cute.  I can't take my dog to work because the broker's dog is always there and she's the princess.

Plus, my dog is very hairy.  LOL

my dogs are permanent fixtures in my office!

Cyndee my poor little Christopher would have an anxiety attack! He only feels safe in Natasha's room. Salem would run around trying to find a place to hide behind so he could feel safe peeking out at everyone. My cats are neurotic.

Hey Cyndee, our office is in our home, so Daisey comes to work everyday. Well, we do have an office a few miles away, but what the heck, we are too busy showing houses to go there....

Jack

Cyndee, dogs are a common sight at my office.  We even have doggie dishes and beds. Seriously.  It just sort of became a trend last year.  I love the idea of dog parks.  So nice to have a place for the pet.  I love the photo too!

Ashley - you are crackiong me up...do you think he's afraid of W-O_R-K? (LOL)

Jack - yes - Daisy is a fixture in our office;

Stephanie - I just finished a list of all the dog parks in 3 counties - we have almost 30 - this is a dog's heaven!!!

Ines - Jack's not going to be able to make it - see you there;

Elaine - I've seen your "baby' - thanks for visiting.

David - thanks for visiting and weighing in - :-)

Karen, Kim & Mana - thanks for visiting me my friendsl- gotta run be back later :-)

I don't think anyone would get any work done....we'd be having so much fun!  :)

What an idea!  As I was reading your post my dogs started barking to come inside.  My dogs love my home office, but I don't think they'd do good in the outside world.

Melissa - I thnk you're probably right. We'll see what happens today!

Tina - our dog loves our home office too. Thanks for stopping by.

Cyndee, I appreciate your words and I feel flattered that you tell me that, but that's true, I remember it :) just remember that when we wish good thoughts we receive them at double, so it is better "positivism" than negativism :)   ooh I also read the other blog about something about the graphics, let me know !

Love the post Cyndee!  Rocky tried to go to work with me, but he stole the ball one of the gals desks, he had to go back home :)

I used to take Snickey to my old office...hmmm, I think I sense a dog day coming!  Wonderful post!
