The Fremont Solstice ParadeThis was my first time attending this annual infamous Seattle event welcoming the yellow orb from our cloudy skies...and my oh my! It was an extra treat because I met up with fellow bloggers, Ardell and Deborah Burns, of Rain City Guide. The Fremont Solstice Paradeis probably most known for the nude bicycle riders. A majority of them are actually covered in paint and some are, well, leave less to the imagination. I must admit, I prefer to view the artisty and creativity of those who were painted.
This is definitely an event that is worth doing, if you've never checked it out before. You'll never forget it. In fact, it probably took a few days to try to get some of the visions out of my head! I laughed so hard, my cheeks hurt when I got home...but now, if someone says to me, "hey, have you ever been to the Solstice Parade?" I can casually answer, "Oh yeah, that was fun...been there, done that!" For more photos, you can click here. |
