Celebrating the filming of STAND BY ME, which used many parts of historic Brownsville in the film,Stand By Me Celebration and Rolling Road Show festivities start at 1:00 Saturday July 28, 2007.

Longtime Brownsville residents love to reminisce about the movie stars, director Rob Reiner, and especially the famous pie eating scene for which local folks were hired as extras.
