Arizona~At Your Service

As my husband and I were driving home last night, we realized the car registration was due on the 15th. A couple of years ago Arizona changed the car registration due date to the 15th OR the 30th. It confuses me to no end, because I was so used to it being due the end of the month!

The great news is I just came home, hopped on the computer, and renewed it. Yes, Life is GOOD. Any day I don't have to stand in line for hours at the DMV is a good day. I haven't been to the DMV in 5 years now. Living outside of the Metro areas of Tucson and Phoenix, there is norequirement for emissions. And since our driver's licenses don't expire until we turn 65, I don't have to renew that. Even when I moved, I logged in, changed my address, and ordered a new license. They have my picture still from 1999 in their database, so that stays with me. I might get it changed one day, but it's too bad we can't just upload a new one, like profile pictures on MySpace.

I have heard the lines at the DMV can get to as long as 8 hours. We even saw on the news people who would go down, pick a number and then sell it to people outside, the closer to their number, the higher the price. So I thought I would ease your pain, and give you the link to Service Arizona and share my little secret with you. You might have to still take a trip to the DMV one day, but the less you have to go the better, right?

Oh, I almost forgot. You can even register to vote online :) Now no one has an excuse!
