If you look at the official numbers in the MLS, it shows things slowing down - quite a bit! But I did some of my own research - using my own twisted way - no really I just pulled up - HOMES- listings for the last 30 days, versus the 30 days preceding that, That had gone contingent during that 30 days, and added/multiplied/divided and came up with the figure that - Kona - Home - Contingent - (in escrow) are up over 50% in the last 30 days. SO it Looks like business is picking up some in Kailua Kona, phones seem to be ringing more, showings are up and best of all - sales appear to be up. Just send me an email if you want me to send you the actual figures I used.
