Utah wildfires create a stir over personal fireworks

The wildfires in Utah just keep getting worse.  They've gotten so bad that Governor Huntsman has asked that personal fireworks be banned in the state.  Since the 24th of July is still yet to come, and in Utah the fireworks on that day rival the 4th of July fireworks, this issue is still a major concern.  A few cities, such as Holladay and Draper have agreed with Huntsman, but others have yet to put the ban into effect.  I am glad that Holladay and Draper have decided in favor, since I myself witnessed the beginning stages of a fire that crawled up Lone Peak in the south of the valley a few weeks ago.  That one was caused by illegal fireworks being shot off up on the east bench.  I don't know how much other cities in the central valley have to worry about that sort of fire, but I do believe that caution is needed by everyone in the state.
