When my parents moved to South Jordan just before I was born, it was not the place that it is now. Surrounding my house were seemingly endless fields and almost no houses. As a child of course I loved it that way, but even though it isn't empty land anymore, I really like what it has turned into.
South Jordan now is one of the most sought after places to live in the Salt Lake valley. Most of the neighborhoods here boast very nice homes and somewhat larger yards. Newer additions to the city, such as Thorne's King Benjamin's Court, only heighten the prestigious feel of the area. It is now much more expensive that when my parents moved in, but I think well worth it.
If you have considered moving any place in the southern region of the valley, consider South Jordan. I think you'll love it as much as I do.

How is the market in your area, Nathan? My son lives in LaVerkin and it is still growing...but sales are slow.
