East Millcreek, Utah - A Great Place to Live

When most people in Utah think of East Millcreek, they probably think of a neighborhood where there are no kids, almost no younger couples, and a lot of retirees.  While this might have been somewhat true a few years ago, it couldn't be further from the truth now.  

There is currently a great amount of turnover happening in this area, as in many well established areas of Salt Lake's east bench.  In the area of East Millcreek where I live, there are younger families and couples moving in all the time.  They bring young children with them most of the time.  Though this area cannot compare to areas such as Herriman in terms of number of children, there are still a good amount here.  Wasatch Junior High is being rebuilt because there is still demand in the area for schools for younger kids.  

Everyone I know here has pride in their neighborhood, keeps their properties well maintained, and are very amicable with those who move in.  It is a wonderful place to live.
