Today was the last day of The Mattapoisett Harbor Days, so hubby and I ventured into town to checkout the festivities!
We started our day by stopping by the Center School where the American Red Cross sponsored their annual Blood Drive. This was my first time donating blood so I was a little nervous, but make it through no problem.

The volunteers were extremely kind and very committed to the Blood drive and helping save lives! Thank you Sarah Cooper for writing about your experience giving blood, you have inspired me to do the same.
Next we ventured down to Shipyard Park where there was live music from the "The Showstoppers" and the annual crafts fair.
We had the opportunity to meet many local artist with beautiful artwork displayed all over. Sea glass jewlery and handmade items throughout.

The Mattapoisett Historic Society was on hand to answer my many questions about Mattapoisett! Over all the weather was perfect for todays event.
Upcoming Mattapoisett events,
8/4/2007 will be Mattapoisett's 150th Parade!
The event start time will be at 9:30 am hope to see you all there.
