Recently I did a post titled "Yeah I Can Do it All" in this post it talks about people stating they can do everything. Well to expand on that, below is facts about the State of Florida.

- State Capital Tallahassee
- 2004 Florida had 76 Million Visitors which had an Economic Impact of 57 Billion Dollars
- 54,254 Square Land Miles..
- Pensacola to Key West is 792 Miles
- 663 Beaches
- 1,197 Miles of Coastline
- 11,000 Miles of Rivers, Streams and Waterways
- Palm Beach County (where I live) 2,578 Square Miles
- 1,000 People a day move to the State of Florida
Facts about the State where provided by the State of Florida web site.
Please take a moment to really take in the actual size of the State of Florida. The next time someone tells you they are licensed in the State do they really know the area that you are talking about?
I am very fortunate in the fact that I was born and raised in Miami and went to College in Tallahassee. After college I lived in Pembroke Pines and now I reside in Palm Beach Gardens.
Before I arrived as a Mortgage Broker in my past life I used to travel the state extensively for my work. So yes I do know this state quite well.

Florida is a much larger state than people realize.
I learned that on my first trip driving down here.
David, Very true many people don't realize this.
I like simple facts like this...didn't realize how big it is.
Sally, It is a big state.. I am sure Hawaii is huge. How many islands make up Hawaii?
By the way ...What no comment about the new pic?..:-)
And I just read a post of someone who is licensed in Georgia and wanted to know how to go about getting licensed in Florida! I asked, " What For!" It is hard enough to just get one area down well! Katerina
OMG there is such a thing as a true Floridian! WOW and I even met one! Great Facts!
Um, 137 Islands represent the state of Hawaii, I used to live there too ... :)
Katerina, So very true...I can see if they lived in Tallahassee and they wanted to sell property in GA. It so close that to me would make sense
Lysa, HOLY ........137..wow...Yes I am a true Floridian.
Ha! I saw that but couldn't remember if you had changed it before and I was just experiencing half memory or what. I love the picture!
Sally, Thank you..<blush>.. I am not getting a lot of comments I think people got scared with the new pic

Matt,
Iam sorry i'm late, i'm in TN, so it's a little tough, anyhow, yes you are right again, people that claim to Licensed In our state, really know nothing about every area, ironacally, as I was driving up I was amazed at how much of the state I really havn't seen and probably will never see, so if someone where to trust just anyone, as opposed to a proffesssional like us:0)

Great information on Florida Matt! There is so much to know about this great state. For those of us that live here, I consider us lucky to live in the Sunshine State. Now, if we can just survive rainy season and get back to the sunshine. I am feeling sun deprived the past week.
Kim, Thank you... I do get around.. in a good way..:-)
Leah, We are lucky to live here.... the rain keeps cool....:-) although not good for the hair..
Ann, funny... So I take it you went to Ft. Lauderdale during your spring break?.. Oh My those where the good old days..
