Pioneer Farm Museum and Ohop Indian Village: http://www.pioneerfarmmuseum.org/FramesSite/PFOIVFrames.html Experience life in the 1880's by visiting the historic Washington home stead. Children can milk a cow, try their hands in the metal smith shop, ride in the horse drawn wagon and much more. In the Indian village tour guides will explain life for the Ohop Indians before the first contact with Europeans. These hands-on tours are fun for families and children of all ages.

Point Defiance Park Tacoma : Spend the whole day at the park, the beach, the logging camp, Ft. Nisqually or the Zoo and Aquarium http://www.pdza.org/ 

Olympia Pet Parade: 8/18/07 10am at Sylvester Park. Bring your pets, or just come and watch the colorful parade with music and ice-cream in the park.

Sand in the City: http://www.hocm.org/sitc/html/about.html What happens when over 200 tons of sand get dropped off in the city? A lot of fun! See the imaginative sand creations at Olympia's Port Plaza.

Harbor Days: http://www.harbordays.com/ Come and take a close look at vintage boats, enjoy live music, food, vendors, and watch the annual tug boat race at Olympia's Percival Landing
