Bourne Again?

It's Sunday and as usual we took in a matinee. It was no contest. Irene wanted to see the third installment in the Bourne trilogy too. I don't want to know why. It's enough that I get to go without having to first win her version of WWIII.

So what is this Bourne thing, you ask?

Before there was Tom Clancy there was Robert Ludlum. There were all kinds of rumors about where he got his "ideas." Some said he had a direct line to the head of the CIA. Some said other things about him. I don't know. I don't care.

I read all his books when they first came out.

The Bourne Ultimatum came out in 1990.

I don't know why they are just getting around to making ‘em into movies. This movie has almost no story line, but it does keep moving. And if you like car chases, this one will definitely satisfy.

The theater was absolutely quiet thoughout the showing. No ooooohs, no aaaaaahs, no applause. Nothing.

I'm still glad I went.
