The other day I had an associate ask me... Where is all the business ? Where are you getting your leads ? My reply may surprise you... Internet Marketing... Now I'm not buying leads... I have several webpages out there and I advertise my listings (FOR FREE) on over 40 different internet real estate search engines.
The internet is where the consumer is. If you're not computer savy, or putting yourself out there on the net for people to find you... you're not going to get business.
Of course my other niche is my sphere if influence. Don't forget to remind your friends and family that they need to use you for all of their real estate needs. Trust me if you don't train them and remind them they just might go somewhere else...
Have a great work week...

Excellent suggestion. Are you listing FREE because of setting up a domain name??
.
Yes, 82% of the people are looking online first and if you can be their with credible info and a good call to action you will do good there.
Scott,
This is a great blog. I will definitely make better use of the internet.

Scott, would you be willing to share the links to the 40 sites you advertise on? I would love to see what you use that I'm/we're not and having such great success! That is AWESOME that you have so many search engines to advertise!! You've got my attention!!
Good post, as always Scott. Are you willing to share a little bit more?
Scott
You are so right, there is nothing worse than finding out that a friend or family member used another REALTOR.
Well said, Scott. I typically rely heavily on my past client base for business, but there is no better place to meet new prospects than online. A laptop at an open house is a great way to meet prospects in person, while using the downtime to work on one's online presence.
Scott,
Great blog. I just wrote up another offer from a buyer who found one of our listings on Craigslist.com
Amazing.
Folks, it really IS that easy. You have to be where the potential customers are.
