Yahoo! I did it! I'm the first EcoBroker Certified broker in Flagstaff, AZ.

I took me from April to yesterday to complete the on-line coursework. I learned some good stuff and have saved lots of resource links. Now, let's see what I can do with it!

CONGRATULATIONS ANN ! I would like to know how many days a week or hours a week you had to put in to cover the classes? Generally speaking. Its a great designation.
Lloyd - I mostly worked on it on rainy, or very hot, Sunday afternoons. I think the total was 18-20 hours. It's easy to break into pieces and the learning is really worthwhile. Be prepared by creating a folder in your "favorites" secton called ecobroker so that you can bookmark all the great websites that they take you to. Of course, once you finish you can also log into their website and find the links.
Ann. I'll take that in consideration when I decide to do it.I am sure that there is so much out there, that bookmarks are a most. Most important is to have a designation that underlines what you believe in and whichclients can recognize. I think that most people are savvy enough to understand that being green active or ecologically active is going main stream and does save money, protect our planet and more. This is not new and in Florida we have our own problems. For starters pesticides from lawns which run off in our back bay and rivers, canals. I have also noticed that some of the most successful and respected developers in our area are eco friendly,Buyers are aware of that and they want builders who can build within nature and not against it. Talk is cheap and you have taken the step into embracing not only a way of thinking but a way of life. It is inspiring. WE do know that changes cannot happened over night and that even ecobrokers cannot rock the boat all at once.
Yeah!! Congratulations Ann! I'm so glad to have another Ecobroker on AR!
Wonderful! Congratulations Ann...now all you need to do is get your marketing items changed to show this!
Lloyd, Stephanie, and Mary -- thanks! Mary -- yes, that's on my to-do list.
The more the merrier! Congratulations Ann!
Dena - Thanks. Someday we'll all be Ecobrokers.
Congratulations.......it's nice when people obtain their goals. Good job, now what are you going to do with those rainy or hot Sunday afternoons :)
Kathy -- I'm going to try to finish the history of the building of the Panama Canal. But seriously, this was a good time of year to stay inside. June is our hottest month. May is often too hot after 11 a.m. and then it starts to rain in the afternoons for July and Aug. I'm sure that by next season, I'll find something.
Congratulations! I haven't heard of this designation, can you provide a link to more info on it?
Gail -- it is ecobroker.com.
Congratulations Ann!

Well, Dave, I sent out one press release since we have just one newspaper in town. Tomorrow would be the day it would have a little write-up. We'll see.
