Here is a snapshot of the current lot and land market in Frederick County Maryland.

As of the 8/13/07 there are 367 active lot & land listings in Frederick County. Currently 23 properties are under contract which equates to 5.8% of the total currently listed properties.

The breakdown of the price ranges for active listings appears as follows:

• $100K and under- 19 properties  
• $100K+ - 200K - 72
• $200+ - 300K - 113
• $300+ - 400K- 58
• $400+ - 500K- 44
• $500+ - 61

Of the 367 active listings in, 150 have been on the market 180+ days and 98 total at 90-179 days.

As shown from sales over the past 4 years, 2007 is below that of the previous 3 years.
