Now is a great time to visit the Salt Lake City Farmer's Market

I hear that other states such as California and Washington have incredibly large farmers markets, and while I can't claim that we have the same in Utah, the Farmer's market in Salt Lake City isn't half bad.  

My wife and I have visited and we were pleasantly surprised at the variety of foods that they had.  I always complain to my wife about the poor quality of fruits and vegetables in some of the large chain supermarkets around here, so it really was a treat for me to see such high quality stuff. 

The crafts are really neat too.  There were so many high quality framed prints and paintings that we wanted them all but had no time to see them all.  We arrived that morning during the waning hours of the market, and so we'd really like to return when we have a lot more time.  

Oh, and one of the best parts for me is that I found out recently that a really good friend of mine who lives just down the street from me did the artwork for the Farmer's Market.  His stuff is really great.
