My favorite Salt Lake City, Utah bookstores

If you'd like to shop for books somewhere besides the large chain bookstores (B&N, Borders), then here are two that I suggest.  Sam Weller's Zion Bookstore, and The King's English Bookshop.

At Sam Wellers, my favorite place in the store is upstairs in the rare and antique book section.  Some are very very pricey, but you have to go in there at least to look.  An old book with a history of its own is fascinating to me, and I could stay mesmerized in that room for hours.  They also have some books in glass cases that are very rare, expensive, and worth a look.  The rest of the store is neat too, and the staff are very helpful when you need to find something.

The King's English Bookshop is located in a very neat part of town that you should see, regardless of if you are going to the bookshop or not.  Like Sam Weller's, they are independent and have an extensive collection.  They have tons of books for kids, I think the largest in the state.  If you like just sitting and relaxing while browsing good books, check this place out.

If anyone out there has any information about other bookstores that are noteworthy, let me know.  I'd love to visit them.
