A Summer Steak Fry in Avon Lake

The days of summer are winding down, but Klingshirn Winery has one final Summer Steak Fry on Friday.

The Summer Steak Fry provides an adult dinner with a 16-ounce portherhouse steak, baked potato, salad, vegetable, rolls, butter, dessert, and coffee or tea for $27 per person. You can enjoy wine with your meal if you'd like for an additional cost. Service will be provided from 5:30 until 8 p.m.

Children ages 5-13 receive grape juice plus one full dinner without meat for $10 or $18 with meat.

The meal is catered by Smith's Country Store in Avon.

Jim Schafer and Friends will provide their unique contemporary folk ballads to basic footstomping country and bluegrass for diners.

Reservations are required and can be made by calling 440-933-6666 or online.

We have never been able to make it up to the Summer Steak Fry, but we have visited the Klingshirn Winery and really enjoy their wines. They are a testament to the continued devleopment of Ohio's wineries as they move into the next level of sophistication.
