Lawrence Kansas Coupons

I look around on the ground and find money all the time.  I remember one day when I was growing up and my dad had found a $100 bill folded up quite small inside a plastic baggie.  While that was probably a horrible loss for the person who dropped it, it was a real find to our family back in the 60's!

Many people will still stop to pick up a penny on the ground.  Some people say it is to honor God because the coins all bear the "In God We Trust" motto.  The related idea is that God sees you are having a bad time and drops a message in front of you telling you to trust Him, quite a compelling message for those who believe in Him.

Some people say it brings good luck and recite an old, old jingle "See a penny, pick it up and all day long you'll have good luck". 

In real estate, I am in and out of a lot of homes whether it be rentals or for sale and I am amazed at the number of coins that get left behind in the driveway and in the house when someone moves out.

Having said all of this, coupons are getting the same reaction with people.  Some people love coupons and the money that can be saved and others could care less about clipping coupons.
