The St. Louis Metro area has one of the lowest cost of living indexes in the country when you compare the population, location, weather, amenities and culture available to most other major metropolitan cities in the country. Not to mention that cost of housing, taxes, and related services are some of the lowest in the country, given a metropolitan area of this size.
